Since August 2012, GRE has changed its examination pattern and is referred to as the Revised GRE. The GRE revised General Test places a greater emphasis on the higher-level of cognitive skills. The overall testing time for the computer-based GRE revised General Test is about 3 hours and 45 minutes, plus short breaks.
